Jillian C. Beck

Jillian is a trial lawyer who zealously fights for clients facing their most complex problems. Jillian has handled significant matters throughout Texas and the United States, representing multinational companies in state and federal courts and in arbitration. Jillian’s experience is diverse, including defending pharmaceutical companies against multi-billion dollar antitrust claims, managing breach of contract disputes for oil and gas companies, defending a major investment bank against claims of securities fraud, and guiding a global technology company through a deceptive trade practices suit brought by the Texas Attorney General. Jillian also has secured high-dollar jury verdicts for technology companies (including a $152 million verdict in the Eastern District of Texas, the largest trade secrets verdict in the US in 2021).

While Jillian’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, her varied litigation experience includes contract, business, antitrust, fraud, intellectual property, trade secrets, employment, personal injury, and pro bono matters.

A native from a small town in central Texas, Jillian began her career in Houston where she was elected to the partnership in a full service international law firm. Following graduation from Harvard Law School with honors, Jillian served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ewing Werlein, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Prior to law school, Jillian worked as a high school math teacher on the Zuni reservation in New Mexico as part of the Teach for America program. Jillian enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two daughters at their home in New Braunfels.
