William H. Oliver

William H. “Bill” Oliver has practiced law for more than 35 years and comes from a long line of Oliver lawyers in San Antonio beginning with his grandfather, Herbert Oliver, in 1921, and his father, uncle, brother and daughter. The primary focus of his career has been business law through many different business cycles, beginning with a real estate transaction and commercial lending practice during the 1980s, followed by a workout and bankruptcy practice into the early 1990s, and evolving into a business practice that included state and federal court litigation, business entity formation, and transactions.

Bill is a “go to” business litigation specialist, and his trial skills have earned him the confidence of clients in many other areas as well, including complicated real estate litigation and complex commercial litigation. While the common thread throughout Bill’s diverse law career has been business-oriented cases, he routinely represents clients in contested probate and estate litigation and in oil and gas disputes.
